The Subject test in chemistry tests your knowledge and mastery of chemistry. In addition to a knowledge of chemical principles and their applications, a knowledge of chemical properties and reactions is required (think of it as chemistry trivia). AP Chemistry is not a prerequisite for dong well on this test. In fact students who have completed AP chemistry and received an A often don't get above 700 on the chemistry SAT subject test. Please take a diagnostic test to find out where you stand and what kind of preparation you will require before you can do well on the test.
